Set in the Robertson Wine Valley, this guest house is a National Monument in the 19th-century village of McGregor. Each suite leads onto a vine-covered terrace with views of the walled garden and circular fountain.

The spacious suites at Fountain Place have a bedroom with fireplace and a separate lounge with sofa and minibar. All include antique furniture and a Victorian-style private bathroom.

A full English or continental breakfast is served on the terrace or under the wooden ceiling of the dining room. Guests can also use the braai barbecue.
