Downstairs, the living room has an open fire with logs and coal provided, a wooden ceiling and restored stone walls, and is joined by a separate dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and there is also an outdoor dining area with a barbecue.

The ruins of Urquhart Castle are found by Loch Ness, just 4 minutes’ drive from Drumnadrochit. Around 48 miles north of Fort William, the cottage is also just 50 minutes’ drive from the Cairngorms National Park.
