Engelen aan de Waterkant is situated in a mansion built in 1900 in a quiet neigbourhood alongside the banks of the Schelde river in the art-historical quarters of the city. “Kinepolis”, the largest cinema in Gent is only 100 meters away. Within a 5 minutes walk distance you can visit the SMAK museum , the Museum of Modern Art and the St Peters’s abbey. 15 minutes of walking will allow you to visit the “Bijloke” concert hall and the “Capitole” theatre. After a 1à minutes walk along the Schelde river you will reach the shopping streets and the ancient city center. You can find plenty of restaurants in this Burgundian city, do not hesitate to ask us for a list , this will allow you to make reservations beforehand .
