Welcome in our beautiful townhouse dating from the end of the 19th century and located in the historic centre of Tavira, just in front of the charming old market on the river Gilão. This character full town house has been tastefully renovated by the owner, an architect, together with a building company specialising in old building ecological renovation. By using original and traditional techniques, ecological materials and respect for the original beauty of the house, we hope it invites you to luxuriate in these large and airy apartments.

Tavira is the jewel of the Algarve, away from massive tourism and with a historical old town going back to Phoenician times; it still has a wonderful working river with fishermen continuing their ancient trade.
It is natural here to fall into the slow rhythm of life and relax in the many little squares and gardens. The long, wild but very safe beach Tavira Island offers is another jewel for beach lovers of any kind.

A good variety of activities are here possible:

Golf is one of the main activities of the Algarve and in the immediate vicinity you will find excellent golf courses. All kinds of water sports, boat tours, bird watching, walking tours and mountain bike tours are offered by local companies.

Cultural events are also part of the program with some high moments like the early European open air film festival, the medieval festival in the castle of Castro Marim, regularly changing exhibition in the Palacio da Galeria, etc….

By car Seville is 1,5 hours away, Lisbon is 3 hours and Faro airport 45 minutes. Bus and train are also alternatives.
